Onelife Story

I never imagined the twists and turns my life would take. In my early twenties, I found myself a mother of three young children, juggling nappies and bedtime stories while dreaming of a brighter future. It wasn’t easy, but I had a fire inside me—a determination to build a life that would not only provide for my family but also fulfil my growing ambitions.

When my youngest child started school, I took a bold step: I enrolled in college as a mature student. Balancing my studies with the demands of motherhood was no small feat, but I knew it was a necessary sacrifice. I earned my degree and soon found myself working in accounts and operations at a thriving software company. For years, I poured myself into my work, grateful for the stability it provided, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.

It wasn’t until my early 40s that a new opportunity presented itself. The company needed someone to set up a human resources department, and I jumped at the chance. To ensure I was fully equipped for the role, I went back to college to complete my CIPD training in Human Resources. As I delved into the world of HR, I discovered a passion I hadn’t known existed. The systems and processes fascinated me, but it was the people—their recruitment, engagement, retention, and performance—that truly captured my heart.

My career was flourishing, but I was always looking for ways to grow. After completing a management course, a colleague suggested I consider training as a coach. Curious and eager to expand my skillset, I took the advice to heart. As I began my coaching training, I felt an immediate connection. Coaching didn’t feel like work; it felt like a calling.

However, as I neared the end of my coaching qualification, I found myself at a crossroads. I loved my HR role, but coaching had ignited a new passion within me. Unsure of which path to take, I sought out a career coach myself. That decision proved to be transformational.
In those sessions, I experienced firsthand the power of coaching. The conversations about my possibilities and transferable skills opened my eyes to new horizons. I walked away not only with a stellar CV but also with a renewed sense of purpose and a clear vision for my future. I was hooked.

With my newfound clarity, I made the bold decision to step away from my HR career and fully embrace coaching. I founded OneLife Coaching, determined to help others experience the same transformation I had. Every day since, I’ve poured my heart into my coaching practice, guiding others as they navigate their own crossroads. For me, coaching is more than a job; it’s a journey that never feels like work, only pure fulfilment.

I’ve never looked back, and neither have the countless clients whose lives have been transformed.

I now live a life I absolutley love and wish that for everyone of my clients.
Live the life you love!
